This is an elegant vintage 14k yellow gold Lucien Piccard ladies watch with a leather strap/band that would be the perfect watch for any evening occasion. The designer styling of this piece makes the watch 'present' without the narrow, inconspicuous 1/4 inch wide band detracting from its lovely presence. Definitely a stand out timepiece with a timeless design. This is NOT a 'sports watch' and is NOT waterproof or water resistant. The total weight of the piece is 18gms. The watch measures 2 inches in length by nearly 5/8 inch wide (11/16 inch with the crown) by 1/4 inch thick and is a manual wind timepiece. This piece is marked with the Lucien Piccard name on the face, back, movement and crown. The movement is Swiss 17 jewel Unadjusted and marked with 'LP' and the number '37' inside a shield. The back of the case is marked Lucien Piccard, 14K and the number 'C1906'. The leather band has two textures - suede on the outside and typical 'leather' on the inside - and is marked with the letters JB inside a triangle. This band is for a smaller wrist and will fit up to about a 6 inch wrist. The band/strap shows use but is in very good condition. The watch runs well, keeps good time and is in very nice condition -the previous owner took care of her belongings.
