Stunning! Vintage Pave Diamond Dial set in a 14KT Gold Band. We contacted Longines and they have verified the watch was made in 1976 - here is the response: "At the origin, the serial number 53’142’854 identifies a watch fitted with a Longines caliber L5602, that was first produced in 1972. It was produced on 22.06.1976." The dial is set with a multitude of Pave set Diamonds with black hands. I tried counting the diamonds but there are just too many! The movement is marked with the following: Longines Watch Co Swiss Seventeen 17 Jewels 5602 unadjusted 53142854. The interior of the caseback is marked Longines-Wittnauer 14K Gold R6617 283733. The back of the caseback is marked with an L in a circle and 14K Gold. The clasp front has the Longines wings and the back is marked 14K. This is a mechanical wind automatic watch, it must be moved in order to keep it going. The weight without the movement is .9 oz/25grams, see photos. The watch is made for a small wrist, please make sure it will fit! Please see photos for measurements. It measures just under 6 1/2" long from end to end. It will most likely fit a wrist smaller than 5 1/2". It does have the safety chain. This item is a vintage, pre-owned item and is being sold AS IS. It could most likely use a servicing and the gold would benefit from a professional cleaning. Shipping includes insurance.
