Wittnauer 17J vintage wrist watch, unusual mint faux-wood pattern dial with fancy gold Arabic style numbers, fancy gold steel hands, heavy wide rectangular yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) smooth polish case with slightly rounded sides and short heavy extended lugs showing only very light even wear, measures approx 33mm wide x 35mm lug to lug, brown leather band. A distinctive vintage watch from the 1970's in excellent+ condition! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
