This piece, from an antique Bijou Pocket watch, has been wired to fit inside of an artistically formed Copper Disc. I drew the design on the copper and etched it into the metal. I then tore back pieces of the metal to fit the watch part inside. My design shows an "Exploding" look. Hence "An Exploding Watch". The original Bijou watch piece has been beautifully etched by it's maker. The contrast between the Copper and the Watch piece create a simply beautiful contrast. Anyone who loves steampunk will love to wear this pendant! I love to use Old Watch parts simply due to the beauty of the pieces. They were made in a time when the skill and artistic talents of a watch maker were cherished. When you look at some of these old watch parts you can see why.
