RARE : VINTAGE BREVETE SWISS JUMP HOUR DIGITAL POCKET WATCH - 1920' S ERA ART DECO STYLE ORIGINAL WITH UNUSUAL FOLD OUT STAND THIS WATCH FEATURES A VERY UNUSUAL BEZEL / FOLD OUT STAND SO IT COULD ALSO BE USED AS A BED SIDE TABLE WATCH YOU CAN READ WHILE LYING DOWN So this could also have been designed as a Travel Clock was well as a Pocket Watch THIS IS A RARE & UNUSUAL FEATURE THAT I HAVE YET TO FIND ANYWHERE ELSE I HAVE LOOKED EXTENSIVELY ONLINE & ELSEWHERE & CANT FIND ANY OTHER VINTAGE SWISS JUMP HOUR DIGITAL POCKET WATCHES WITH A BUILT IN STAND Jump Hour Display features 3 Rotating Discs in 3 windows for Hours, Minutes & Seconds Dial discs are excellent, digital windows have a clear celluloid covering in good condition. All 3 Dial Discs are in very Good condition with all numbers intact and little or no fading Mechanical Movement - Manual Wound SWISS made, fully functioning & keeps good time. The inside of the removable front of the Watch Case is engraved "BREVETE" - SWISS" on one side & "51" is engraved on the opposite side - I think that is the Case Model Number. The Metal is likely Nickel Chromium as that was the most commonly used at the time Case Measures 38mm x 38mm - (40mm with the Crown & 50mm with Half Circle Loop) **** Most of the Jump Hour watches of this era were either Rectangular or Round ***** The case has some scratches as expected from a Vintage watch of this age - The watch looks great to the naked eye and the scratches could always be buffed out, but I like the way it looks with a bit of age as it gives the Watch some character The bright light needed to take the pics tends to exaggerate any marks on the case This watch is one of many It was one of many watches I have collected over the years It didn't get much use & mostly just sat on display. It is in very good condition for it's age.
