Lord Elgin presentation watch engraved on the back: To A.L. From J.P.C. 25 Years of Loyal Service. 21 jewels, S58008, 4 ADJ's, Circa 1951. Manual winding, Caliber 670. 14K gold filled. Inside back case of watch reads: Cased and timed by Elgin National Watch Co., Watch Star Case, 14K gold filled 4625, 0465038. Running condition. We believe this is the original watch band. Sometimes called a driver's watch, because the lugs holding the watch band swing back and forth. Wonderful old watch.
