Its sibling, the Grand Lange 1, appeals to connoisseurs of precision horology who prefer somewhat larger timepieces. The new case diameter of the Grand Lange 1 allowed the enlargement of the hour, minute, and small seconds indications. The characteristic asymmetric arrangement of the displays on the solid-silver dial ? now available in three new colour variations ? remains unchanged. The patented outsize date provides a highly legible date indication. The state of wind of the twin mainspring barrel is indicated by the up-and-down power-reserve indicator. When fully wound, the watch has a power reserve of three days. In all models, the hands are made of solid gold.
