WALTHAM VANGUARD Premier 23J Railroad Gr. 16s Pocket Watch w/ WALTHAM Premier RR Case. Circa 1941 Make: WalthamSerial #: 30756035(from movement)Year:(approximate) 1941Country: U.S.A.Case Shape and Material: round shape open face 10k gold filled case 50mm in diameter. Inner case back is marked "WALTHAM PREMIER Keystone J.Boss 10K Gold Filled 9157943". Case is in good condition with only a few small scratches consistent with normal use. Shows slight wear to gold plating at high points of caseback. Case is a screw-back type with a screw-on bezel which opens and closes properly. Monogram: none, clearMovement: Waltham Vanguard 23 jewel manual wind railroad movement with pressed jewels adjusted to 6 positionsMovmt Type: 23 Jewel Model 1908 mechanical movement pendant wind and lever set.Movmt Condition: very good, winds sets, keeps time to within 2-3 minutes/day in both the face up and pendant up (vest pocket) positions.
