Spring Sale! Was £240 - Now £180 Please note - This is a PROPER moon phase watch, not a 'day-night' cycle watch. A beautiful, unique watch with an unusual Coat of Arms engraved on the back, setting it apart from even other DeJuno watches - a great collectors piece. DeJuno seem to have an elegant knack for a retaining pristinely uncluttered design regardless of the amount of information displayed on the dial and this beautiful Moon Phase Triple Date watch is no exception. Lance shaped luminous hands, red arrow tipped date pointer hand and a trim, polished bezel complete this beautiful 1980s watch. It is in excellent cosmetic condition and runs perfectly too - keeping accurate time. The piece features day and month windows below the 12 o’clock position as well as a date dial around the outer circumference - hence the term “triple date†Otherwise known as the “no excuses dear, how could you have forgotten our anniversary?…. haven’t you got that fancy triple date watch?" The Moon Phase window is at 6 o clock. Unlike many 'Moon Phase' watches out there, that actually are just 'Day/Night' cycle watches, with a moon and sun, this is a true, full moon cycle, 'complex' watch, tying the calendar of the watch in with the cycle of the moon. At the time of photograph the tiny midnight blue sky area is filled with tiny gold stars - In a few days there should be a little section of the gold moon beginning to show, as a 'quarter moon', then a half moon, until it reaches the centre of the blue section as a large round full golden moon. (There is no sun in a real moon phase watch) A feature, and one that collectors might find both interesting and puzzling ( I do!) is the coat of The arms on the back. It is The Lion & The Unicorn, Royal Coat of Arms (Great Britain) however from the information i can gather the DEJUNO WATCH CORP. was formed in New York in the 1980s. I haven't seen another DeJuno watch with this coat of arms on the back. Watch is 42mm lug to lug X 34mm (Not including the crown) Fitted with a stylish dark brown genuine leather strap.
