This is a beautiful Art Deco era women's Waltham wrist watch offered from my own collection....it keeps time well and comes with a beautiful vintage watch band.... The case is simply beautiful! It's finely crafted of solid 18K white gold and has exquisite floral detailing and milgrain work along both sides of the case, with more fancy detailing above and below the face and along the side edges of the gold case. Even the stem to wind the watch has beautiful detail work! The elongated oval shaped case measures approximately 17 x 27 mm, not including the lugs or stem. The face ittself measures approximately 13 x 19 mm at it's widest and longest points. The face has a a tan/ivory color that's in very good condition. In the lower right corner if you look closely you can see a bit of patina or greenish discoloration along the very edge....the watch came to me this way and I haven't explored what caused it or if it can be cleaned, as it never bothered me at all. (the photos show glare and shadows and the discoloration I am describing is hard to see even in my macro photos) The numerals are very stylish and easy to read and the hands are delicate and beautiful and of a metallic blue color. The name "Waltham" is also on the face. (I grew up in the adjoining town to Waltham, Massachusetts, so these fine watches have a sentimental value to me! They made fine watches from 1850 to 1957.) The crystal is glass with a bit of a domed shape and under magnification I can see it has some wear. Without magnification I can see a nick or scuff in the lower central part of the glass and a chipped corner in the lower right, neither of which is terribly noticeable when wearing the watch. I added the vintage 'Anne Elaine' 12K white gold filled watch band to the watch and it might work for you if you have a small, dainty wrist as I do. It's a lovely and intricately detailed floral band that really complements all the detail work of the Waltham case, and fits the lugs of the watch very nicely, as well. At the lugs the band is approximately 10 mm wide, and it tapers to approximately 5.2 mm wide for the rest of the band. There is a bit of stretch in the band on each side of the lugs, but not a lot....the band has a hidden mechanism for opening and closing at the back of the band, making the on and off fairly easy. The band is still lightly marked "Anne Elaine" and for 12K GF. When closed the interior of the watch band measures approximately 5.25 inches without engaging the stretchy part of the band. The total weight of the watch and band is 18.85 grams. This watch has kept good time for me and I will test it again before shipment. (I found that it would need to be wounbd again after maybe 10 hours or so) The case looks to me to be in really nice condition with light wear. A lovely and elegant watch from a very fine maker....
