Here's gold plated watch by „Vostok“("East"). This watch is in good working order, 17 jewels, shockproof balance, dust proof, mechanical movement, manual winding. The brand new genuine leather band included. Year: 70’ Made in USSR. Dial diameter: 1,2†(3 cm) Chistopol Watch Factory „Vostok†was founded during the World War II as many other industrial enterprises of the Middle Russia. At the end of 1941 “Slava†watch factory was evacuated from besieged Moscow to Chistopol, where in several month production was restarted. Thus the biggest watch factory was born. The factory produces mainly rugged military and diver mechanical watches. It also makes clocks and watch movements for other watch brands NOTE: All watches I’m selling are mechanical – it means, that every watch uses mechanical mechanism to measure the passage of time (no battery required), as opposed to modern quartz watches which function electronically.
