VINTAGE SANDOZ-VUILLE CAR CLOCK This is 1930s Sandoz-Vuille which was made to fit into the rear view mirror of vintage cars, such as the Model A Ford. The movement is stamped L Sandoz-Vuille Made in Switzerland. It is a stem wound, stem set crown at number 3 and the movement runs excellent. The perfect dial has a checkerboard pattern and it is signed Sandoz-Vuille 8 days. Beautiful gold arabic numbers and fine blue-steeled hands. The crystal is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The dial of this clock, including the bezel measures 2 inches. There is a mounting gap between bezel and back cover of 1/4 inch. Excellent find for that restoration or simply as a rare automotive collectible.
