Navajo artist Randall Tom was doing old style when old style wasn't cool :-). Well, maybe not quite that long, but he is and has been for some time one of a growing number of Gallup area artists reviving the oldstyle designs from 40 to 100 years ago. This distinctive traditional cluster or row style watch bracelet features two beautifully hand stamped (mountains, rain clouds, sunshine, and suns) sterling silver scalloped oval watch tips with a light old pawn finish similar to the H*o*p*i brush finish with a total of six 7/16ths" by ¼" medium intense blue oval Nacozari cabochon (domed) stones. Randall added pairs of hand made sterling silver rain drop bead overlays between each stone. Notice how he nested sun shine and rain cloud cloud (the same design that means one thing right side and the opposite when it's upside down) and sun designs inside the watch tips' scalloped edges. Thsee watch tips measure 1½" long along the lateral curvature, 1 and 3/8ths" wide in the center, 11/16ths" wide where they attach to the watch movement, and where they attach to the 5/8ths" wide silver tone stainless steel Spiedel type link expansion band. The reliable silver tone quartz watch movement features a white mother of pearl watch face, three silver tone hands, and italicized black numbers at each hour point. The back of the watch is stainless steel, and it runs on a complimentary battery that's available worldwide when it needs replacement. The Nacozari mine is located near the Mexican-Arizona border in a mountain range renowned for its superior quality. A high quality watch for both dressy and casual occasions.
