It was in 1976, in the middle of the watchmaking crisis, when Mario Boiocchi created the Paul Picot brand. Today, his name stands for a company, which has the combination of rich Swiss watchmaking tradition and technical refinement. Case: Polished stainless steel Caseback: Transparent, screw-down Dial: White Hands: Silvertone Markers: Silvertone Arabic numerals and indices Subdials: Two, small seconds at the 9 o'clock position and a chronograph 30 minute counter at the 3 o'clock position Tachymeter scale displayed around the dial Strap: Brown leather Clasp: Pin buckle Crystal: Sapphire Crown: Push/pull Movement: Swiss mechanical hand winding Water resistance: 5 ATM/50 meters/165 feet Case measurements: 40 mm in diameter x 11 mm thick Strap measurements: 22 mm wide x 8 inches long Box measurements: 8 inches wide x 10 inches long x 4 inches high Model: P3813.SG.1231.1601 All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly from the listed dimensions. Men's watch bands can be sized to fit 7.5-inch to 8.5-inch wrists. This watch is powered by a Hand-Wind Mechanical movement, which means the winding of the spring occurs only when the wearer winds the watch. It is recommended that the watch be wound every day for it to work properly, and to adjust the time every few weeks as manual movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month. A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.
