Collectible 1930's Hamilton wrist watch with Hamilton on the dial but Illinois on the watch movement. Grandpa tells me this is due to Hamilton buying out Illinois Watch Company in the late 1920's for the fine 17 Jewel movement they made. Hamilton still used the Illinois name for some years after that time and many of these models are highly sought after by collectors. 17 jewel mechanical movement that is housed in a 10K Rolled Gold Plated bezel and stainless steel back (that is engraved) by Star Watch Case Company that is in good vintage condition with no wear-through on the gold. Dial is in good vintage condition with even aging discoloration to the surface, giving it a great look. Hamilton is shown on the dial and newer gold hands adorn the center with the subsidiary second hand below. Crystal is in good condition with some minor scratches/blemishes that can be seen in the photos. From my Grandfather's collection, it runs and it ready for your wrist. All of my watches are sold a "running when shipped" unless otherwise noted and I will not be able to guarantee that they will still be running when delivered, unfortunately due to the nature of vintage mechanical watches.
