Originally released in 1974, this watch was a product of callibration between IWC and the famous German auto maker, Porsche. Because of the mechanical compass feature, the watch was made of aluminum instead of steel, this one having the hard to find anodized military green finish. Originally produced with two finishes, the anodized military green and anodized black finish, the military green is the more rare of the two and highly sought after. This watch has just come back from IWC in Switzerland where it had a complete $700.00 retrofitting. . . . . Carries a Full 2 Year IWC Warranty . . . . . . . . Please do not confuse this watch with the Quartz version which can be easily found on the used market and sells for a bit less. . . . . . . Military Green Anodized Aluminum Case . . Automatic Movement with Date Function . . Mechanical Compass (Revealed by pressing the buttons on each side of the watch case close to where the strap meets the bottom of the watch case) . .
