This large sized watch is stainless steel with a handcrafted oxidized copper dial and individually handcrafted niobium markers. The black minute marks on the dial contain luminous material so they glow in the dark. The white areas of the hour and minute hands glow in the dark. The hour markers are made from niobium. To achieve the colour on the markers, I run an electric current through the metal and depending on what voltage I use, the metal turns different colours. This process is called anodizing. Since many colours are available, I give you the choice of which colour you'd like. Please visit the niobium section of my website(http://www.wilkdesigns.com/Niobium) to see examples of the available colours. The markers pictured are Space Blue. Here is other pertinent information about the parts of the timepiece: Size: your choice of 47mm or 44mm diameter(excluding crown), 15mm & 11mm thick respectively (44mm watch pictured) Case and Caseback: Stainless Steel Dial: Oxidized Copper with luminous compound and anodized niobium markers Crown: your choice of tapered or square stainless steel(square pictured and is the default) Crystal: Domed Mineral(front), flat mineral(back) are pictured Clasp: Stainless Steel, tang style (deployment clasp for leather straps also available, add item to cart to add to watch) Movement: Asian mechanical, hand wound(Asian movement pictured) Strap: your choice of leather or stainless steel(black leather pictured)(please specify during checkout) Warranty: 2 years I can replace the Asian made movement for a Swiss made one with an increased cost.
