YES? Yes. To record clear audio the closer you are to the subject the better. Works great for interviews, and records best within a range of 3 meters. How do you set the correct time/date? Sync the watch to your PC and the time/date will automatically adjust to the same time/date as your PC. How do you know when you are recording? To record, hold down the button on the top left for 2 or 3 second, and you will notice a small green LED light blink 3 times, this indicates that the recording has begun.
