Vacheron Constantin Automatic Watch I found this watch at an estate sale. I have no papers and no box. It keeps good time and all dials are working. Case: Stainless steal. It likely was gold-plated at one point, but most of that has rubbed off. The case shows various scratches that are to be expected of a daily use watch. The pictures highlight these scratches with an offset light so I can give you as clear an idea about the condition, but they are not as visible in day-to-day interactions. Crown: Vacheron insignia Dial: Black, nearly pristine. Band: Also stainless steal. It likely was gold-plated at one point, and some "gold" is visibile in the joints, but most of it has rubbed off. I think it gives the band an interesting look. Also has a clasp closure that closes securely. Glass: Unsure. It does have a small scratch near the 6-o'clock marker, so I do not believe it is sapphire. Movement: It says "Swiss Made" on the dial, but I do not see a "Swiss Made" on the movement (see pictures). Sweeping second hand, winding works well, and keeps time well. I have not tested the accuracy. Please be aware that this is likely a replacement movement. Chrono functions: Day (1 through 7) Date (1 through 31) 24-hour time Back: Stainless Steel closed back with the following inscription: "Vacheron Constantin Geneve Certified Officially 8913". Screwed in place. I took it apart and saw that the seal was in place, but I did not test the water resistance. Please feel free to ask questions.
