Originally, Tissot began as a maker of pocket watches, being the norm in the 1850s. As this stage, they were the pioneer of a dual time zone pocket watch. Tissot Watches have a huge world distribution and are worn in over 150 countries worldwide. In 1983 Tissot became a member of the Swatch group, the producer of high quality brands such as Omega.
