The story of Tissot began in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland, and was created by a father and son with the surname of Tissot. Originally, Tissot began as a maker of pocket watches, being the norm in the 1850s. As this stage, they were the pioneer of a dual time zone pocket watch.
